Chromatic Fields - Green in Passing

• Acrylic on stretched canvas
• Dimensions 101 x 76 x 3.5cm
• Ready to hang

Green in Passing explores the quiet movement of colour through layers of mineral green, muted turquoise and blue-grey. Soft transitions of light and shadow create an atmospheric surface, where colours drift, merge and reappear, evoking fleeting impressions of nature without depicting a specific place.

Built through layered acrylics and tactile, granular textures, the painting reveals subtle variations in tone and surface. Lighter passages emerge from deeper green-blue hues, creating a sense of depth and movement that shifts with changing light and viewing distance.

Calm yet full of quiet complexity, Green in Passing invites a moment of pause. Its nuanced palette sits naturally within contemporary interiors, complementing warm neutrals, natural timber, stone and muted earthy tones.

An original abstract painting from Min Ray’s Chromatic Fields collection.
